Pumpkin Dessert

3 large eggs
2 (1 lb) cans of pumpkin
1 1/4 c sugar
1(12 or 13 oz) can Pet milk
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp vanilla

TOPPING: 1( 1 lb, 21 oz) yellow cake mix
1 c walnuts chopped
3/4 c (1 1/2 sticks) butter or margarine

In medium to large bowl, beat eggs.
Add pumpkin, sugar, Pet milk, vanilla,
and spices, stir until blended.  Pour
into greased 13-9-2 inch cake pan.

Topping: Sprinkle dry cake mix over filling;
pour melted butter evenly over cake mix.
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.  Remove from
oven and sprinkle chopped nuts on top.
Return to oven; bake 30 minutes longer.
Cool cake and serve with cool whip.
