1 c butter, softened
1 c sugar
1 c brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
2 c flour
1 c oatmeal
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1 c pumpkin pie filling
1 c chocolate chips
Cream the butter and sugars.
Beat in egg and vanilla. Combine flour,
oats, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
Add to the creamed mixture alternately
with the pumpkin. Stir in the chocolate
chips. Drop by tablespoonfuls, 2 inches
apart onto greased baking sheets. Bake
at 350 for 9 - 12 minutes or until golden
brown. Cools on wire racks. (Yield 4 dozen)
